I used to tell folks who were voting early to return their ballots as soon as they know who they're going to vote for. If nothing else, it'll serve to reduce the amount of political junk mail filling their mailboxes. Once a ballot is listed as returned, most campaigns consider it "locked" and will stop expending money trying to sway that vote.
Now, there's a second reason for that - the postal service, USPS, is slowing down. I returned my ballot last week, but it took longer than usual for me to receive texts from the county indicating receipt of that ballot.
Since we're now entering the period where it's before the "last day" to mail back your ballot (10/27 per Maricopa County, but other counties list different deadlines), but after the point where USPS can be relied to return ballots in a timely manner, it seems like a good idea to remind voters where they can vote early, either in-person or via drop box.
Note: Some of the locations listed on the websites are time-limited, in date(s) and/or hours of operation. Make sure a particular location is open before journeying to it.
